I just want to give a shout out to all designers, urban or otherwise. When I was at uni they used to have a end of year display for their final year industrial design class. For me it was always a fascinating exhibition of how they took a problem and sought to bring about a design solution across any number of different fields.
Nowadays, it irks me no end when you get a product and you start to use it and you then start to question whether anyone ever product tested it to see if it works effectively or efficiently for the average person. Me thinks it is the exception, rather than the rule.
